DeVere Horsley Estate - Horsley Towers
Hidden away within 70 acres of picturesque parkland, Horsley Estate dates back to 1820 and is the ancestral residence of the Lovelace family and home to a long line of notable thinkers. Today, the charming venue provides the perfect setting for a wonderful wedding celebration and a beautiful backdrop for your all-important photographs.
With full exclusive-use of the Towers building couples have a choice of three function rooms for civil ceremonies, the wedding breakfast and evening reception, along with 28 beautiful newly refurbished en suite bedrooms.
The oak-panelled Great Hall is a traditional English banqueting hall and can hold up to 120 for a civil ceremony, 110 guests for a sit-down meal and up to 200 for an evening reception.
The Sopwith is a bright and spacious room with a large bay window, it can seat up to 120 for both the vows and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 for an evening celebration. The Sopwith also opens up on to the front of house terrace and croquet lawn ideal for barbecues, hog roasts and evening entertainment.
Alternatively, the Charles Barry is a naturally light room with its original 18th-century fireplace and can seat up to 40 for the ‘I dos’ or wedding breakfast and up to 120 for evening festivities – it also links on to the bar.
When choosing to host the big-day here, couples have a choice of one of the two stunning Bridal Suites for the night, the use of a certified toastmaster, ceremonial knife and sterling silver cake stand, there will be a red carpet for arrivals, as well as enjoying a menu tasting before the big day.
What’s more, couples will be delighted with the complimentary bed, breakfast and evening meal stay at Horsley Towers for first wedding anniversary.
