Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace is set in 850 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland that run down to the River Thames. With splendid formal gardens, elegant cobbled courtyards and magnificent Tudor and Baroque architecture, this 500-year-old treasure really does provide a breathtaking backdrop for wedding celebrations. Red Tudor brick, glorious stone archways and immaculate gardens are just a few features that make Hampton Court Palace such a picturesque setting all-year-round.
Couples booking the Garden Room, which is set in a beautiful walled garden, will have exclusive access to the paved terraces and manicured lawns accessed through a set of French doors. Those choosing the Little Banqueting House for their celebration will have access to the private walled garden for drinks receptions or photographs. A combination of venues works extremely well, offering guests an opportunity to see a variety of areas.
The Garden Room is available for hire for up to 180 guests day and night. It’s a light and airy beautiful 1920s-style orangery opening out into a vast garden reserved exclusively for wedding parties.
The picturesque and welcoming Little Banqueting House is perfect for intimate celebrations for 50 guests day and night. It’s set peacefully among palace gardens and spectacularly decorated with 18th-century paintings and murals by Antonio Verrio. Along with beautiful views of the Thames, couples and their guests will enjoy a wonderful vista. Several rooms inside the palace are also available for evening receptions, from the fabulous Cartoon Gallery and beautiful Orangery to the palace’s crown jewel – Henry VIII’s glorious Great Hall.
