Lythe Hill
Based in Haslemere and constructed in 1475, Lythe Hill is an outstanding exampled of a luxury country house hotel that has never lost its old-world-charm. The rural ambience showcases two lakes, one ornamental and the other maintained by a local angling society and adjoins National Trust land and an RSPB reserve.
Maintaining many of its Tudor features, while adding ample modern flourishes, there's 46 individually designed bedrooms, gym, spa, health club and restaurant for total relaxation.
The venues boasts a white exterior and magnificent timber beams inside as the backdrop to nuptials, or couples can host their day in the new lakeside marquee complete with decking area for an outdoor experience overlooking the gardens.
For ceremonies, 120 loved ones can watch the vows and enjoy a sit-down meal afterwards, followed by a reception with up to 250 friends and family joining the evening festivities.
