I’ve worked at County Wedding Magazines for almost three years now and I’ve always admired the gorgeous venues, weddings and talented suppliers in the Surrey region and I’m really excited to introduce myself as the new editor. As many of our regular readers will know the previous editor Danielle, worked on the magazine for more than 10 years. She’s filled the pages with stunning content, and I feel honoured to pick up where she left off.
If you’re picking up our magazine for the first time, then you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed by the planning process. First, try not to panic! Take each day as it comes, and don’t be afraid to do things your way. Here at Your Surrey Wedding, we have everything you need to ensure your nuptials are planned to perfection. Farleigh Golf Club
Farleigh Golf Club is situated in more than 350 acres of tranquil countryside. Guests will be wowed as they drive down the impressive, mile-long driveway and arrive at the majestic clubhouse. There are plenty of places to take pictures, including the glorious lake that offers panoramic views that stretch as far as Canary Wharf and the Shard.
Nearlyweds can tie the knot in one of four suites. Suite one has private access, views of the 27-hole championship golf course, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a sound system, candelabra, mirrored mats and tea lights. It’s capable of holding 100 loved ones for the ceremony.
Alternatively, suite four is available. This space offers breathtaking views, direct access to the outdoor patio, a mobile bar, a dancefloor and can accommodate 200 loved ones for the ceremony, 150 for the wedding breakfast and 250 for the evening celebration.
