Welcome to our first issue of 2020. It’s that time of year again, Christmas has come and gone, and we say hello to a new year. I hope you had a wonderful festive season and if you received a ring – congratulations!
Whether you’re at the beginning or end of your planning journey, we understand how stressful it can be. To avoid getting overwhelmed by the to-do list, take some time out and declare it a wedding-free zone. Share the load and don’t be afraid to ask loved ones for help.
If you’re looking for inspiration, then you’ve come to the right place! We have three real weddings starting on page 41 that are full of gorgeous dresses, flowers, cakes and wow-factor styling. | Spotlight on Waverley and Mole Valley |

Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa
Located within 22 acres of glorious countryside is the grand Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa. Resting on the borders of Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex, the property is an outstanding example of a luxury country house hotel that has retained much of its original charm. The property perfectly combines 16th-century architecture, with a contemporary and elegant feel to create a luxurious atmosphere. The hotel boasts 43 individually designed bedrooms, a gym, a spa, a health club and a restaurant.
The Gazebo is an outdoor ceremony space that offers impressive views of the Surrey Hills, surrounding lake and fountain, with room for 150 guests.
The Ivory Suite can cater for 150 loved ones for the vows and 250 for a standing reception. It’s the largest indoor ceremony space available and features a sky view lantern roof and exposed beams.
Alternatively, The Hampton Suite can be used. The space is a blank canvas that features white walls and brick, perfect for couples wanting to add a personal touch to their big day. It can accommodate 80 friends and family throughout the day.
The Old Room can be used more for more intimate celebrations. Nestled in Lythe Hill Hotel & Spa’s historic Tudor house, it’s an oak-panelled room full of character, with a decorated fireplace and room for 30 nearest and dearest for the ceremony.
Upon booking, couples are automatically enrolled in the Tie The Knot Membership. This entitles brides and grooms access to the spa and health club in the run-up to the wedding and two months after. They’ll also receive spa passes for friends, 10 per cent off food and beverages and 10 bedrooms will be held for guests wanting to stay at the hotel.
