I think we can all agree its been a stressful few months. Many of you will have sadly had to postpone your nuptials, but thankfully things are slowly getting back to normal and just in time for wedding season! Woodlands Park Hotel
Situated within eight acres of landscaped gardens is the Woodlands Park Hotel. Located just 30 miles from Central London, the Gothic style venue has stately chimneys and black timber framing across pitched roofs which contrasts the rich stonework. Built in 1885, the Grade II listed mansion boasts a spacious Grand Hall, which has rich oak-panelling, fine oil paintings and a feature fireplace. Chandeliers hang beneath a vaulted ceiling with ornate stained-glass windows, which allow for plenty of natural light. While the hotel is full of history and character, the majority of the bedrooms benefit from a more contemporary design with modern comforts, such as airconditioning and luxury beds.
The largest space available for weddings is The Prince of Wales Suite. It has glass-panelled doors that lead out onto a private terrace with room for 150 guests for the ceremony and reception.
Alternatively, the Cornwall Suite or Grand Hall can be used. The Cornwall Suite overlooks the private gardens with a wall of windows and has space for 100 nearest and dearest for the service and 70 for the reception. The Grand Hall is only available in the venue’s Exclusive Use Package and can also accommodate 100 friends and family for the vows.
Those looking for a more traditional space will love the Oak Room (70). This beautiful area is furnished with original oakpanelling, stained glass windows and a magnificent fireplace.
