With 65 acres of splendid formal gardens, elegant cobbled courtyards and magnificent Tudor and Baroque architecture, this 500-year old treasure really does provide a breathtaking backdrop for wedding celebrations. Red Tudor brick, glorious stone archways and immaculate gardens are just a few features that make Hampton Court Palace such a picturesque backdrop all year round. Dating back to 1514, some of England’s most famous kings and queens, including William III and Marry II, have visited the property.

Celebrate in style
Ceremonies can take place in the private Walled Garden of the Garden Room. Offering exclusive access to the paved terraces, this space can be transformed for the wedding breakfast and reception and is capable of holding 180 guests throughout the day.
Alternatively, the classic Little Banqueting House can be used. Located in the tranquil palace gardens the wedding party can enjoy a wonderful vista of Tudor and Baroque architecture from the stone terrace, with up to 50 loved ones throughout the day.
The Great Hall is also available, with room for 220 friends and family for the service and 270 for the meal.
Once Henry VIII’s beer cellar, the atmospheric Undercroft can be used for dancing and after-dinner entertainment for up to 220 nearest and dearest.

We love...
When booking to tie the knot here, couples will receive tickets for wedding guests to explore the palace before the ceremony or during the reception. Wedding photography is reserved exclusively for lovebirds hiring the palace for their special day.
