When it's time for you look for local businesses to help you with your wedding, take a look at our advertisements below. Most will have links to their own websites. These advertisements are updated regularly so please revisit often and mention Your Surrey Wedding when making any enquiries.
De Vere always put the wellbeing of their guests first. It’s just one of the ways they make sure everyone who stays with them has an unforgettable experience. And, now the staff are ready to welcome you back into their hotels, with your health, safety and wellbeing being more important than ever.
The chain has introduced the Wellbeing at Heart programme. With the support of their partners, ChemEco, they have carefully crafted a range of new safety measures to make sure every moment of your stay is a safe one to enjoy. From meticulous deep cleaning of bedrooms to thoughtful physical distancing measures inside and outside the hotel.
De Vere has created a cashless environment and reduced contact at reception, dealing with credit card pre-authorisations, payment, any initial extras like drink packages, all at time of booking, secured with the flexible cancellation terms. To help plan ahead, all bookings need to be made in advance via their website or reservations team. For the time being, they will not be able to accommodate ‘walk-in’ bookings.
Where possible, a few days before you arrive one of the friendly team will get in touch via email or phone call to tell you about their physical distancing measures, where to check-in, and to see if you have any special requirements. They'll also ask for your check-in time so they can minimise arrivals during peak periods. The team will follow up with an email to remind you of their hygiene measures and how you can help play your part in ensuring a safe environment during your stay. They've also created a digital companion that holds all the information you’ll need during your stay; from how to order food using an online system to a digital copy of your guest directory.
To streamline your check-in process, some of their properties are operating an innovative in-car check-in experience, so you can get straight to your room without any fuss. Where the in-car check-in is unavailable, they ask that only one member of your party goes to reception and your luggage remains in your vehicle to avoid unnecessary groups in reception at peak times.
As you enter the hotel you will find sanitising stations at all entrances and reception desks. Staff will help you maintain physical distancing with handy visual guides and directional signage. All keys will have been prepared in advance using gloves. They will have been sanitised and placed in a disposable pouch with a hygiene seal for good measure. There’ll be no need to sign any forms unless you’re travelling from overseas, and the staff will pass your key from behind those now-familiar sneeze screens for the safety of guests and colleagues.
When it’s time to wish you farewell, you’ll be able to leave your key card in the handy drop-off boxes, and they'll email your bill and receipt, taking care of the admin so you can enjoy your return trip after a reassuringly pleasant visit.
Whilst it's important you have a comfortable stay, the team are also mindful of creating natural gathering spots in public areas, so they've removed any unnecessary furniture, literature and will keep doors open wherever possible.
There is a robust and heightened cleaning procedure in place for all public areas, particularly around peak times, and you’ll find sanitising stations in key areas throughout the hotel. The staff are fully trained in the wellbeing programme and safety measures and will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. You’ll have the reassurance that they are temperature tested every day before starting work too.
When you arrive at your room, you’ll notice a ‘clean seal’ on your door. This is so you’ll not only know that your room has been sanitised to a high standard, but that nobody else has entered following a deep clean. As you would expect during normal times, all bedrooms are cleaned thoroughly between each and every guest visit. But you can rest assured that a raft of heightened sanitising procedures and products have been put in place to ensure a safe and pleasant stay. This includes the use of jet action sanitiser ‘misting’ equipment, using powerful yet sustainable cleaning products from ChemEco. To minimise contact cleaners will not re-enter your room until the end of your stay, or the fourth day if you’re staying a little longer.
You’ll find a handy wellbeing kit in your bedroom that, should you wish to use it, providing you with hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes, a set of socks, gloves and face mask, all contained in a sealed bag.
Guests can order from a range of food and drinks from the Pantry. There is an online ordering system for room service, controlled pick up and to pre-book table service in the restaurants. This way you can order those treat items you’ve been looking forward to throughout lockdown, all without any unnecessary paperwork or cash payments. The team will deliver takeaway orders to your door without entering your room unnecessarily. It’ll arrive in disposable packaging and condiments will be supplied individually. There's also a ‘grab & go’ option for lighter bites and snacks. Upon ordering you’ll be given a pick-up time and a well-organised collection point, together with sensible physical distancing measures in place.
The restaurants are open for physically distanced dining, but must be pre-booked and will only be available to hotel guests. Leisure facilities, including our outdoor areas and jogging trails are also available for guests.
