"What time of year are you marrying? The season in which you are marrying often has a big influence, particularly on your colour palette. For example bright summery colours make way for rich jewel tones and gold for autumn/ winter weddings, or light spring fresh tones. Or maybe you have a preference for a neutral colour palette, bright accent colours, soft pastel shades or natural earth tones?

"What type of wedding venue have you booked? The venue is also a good place to start because it is something that couples usually choose together and it also sets the scene for the sort of wedding that you’ll be hosting; whether a beautiful barn, garden setting, historic house, tipi, orangery or a modern luxe hotel.  

"What sort of wedding vibe are you creating? Is it an elegant occasion in a beautiful barn or historic house, a relaxed festival vibe with live music and sharing plates, an intimate event with lots of meaningful details, or a large, luxurious wedding?
