Kiran and Michael celebrated their love with an intimate service at Foxhills Country Club & Resort

Kiran and Michael met online in 2016. “We started talking, but the conversation fizzled out, and it wasn’t until a drunken phone call six months later than we reconnected,” says Kiran. “We met for the first time at a Costa near my work, and we began dating shortly after. We got on really well, and the conversation flowed naturally. He was also incredibly supportive during my period of illness at the start of our relationship.”

Michael popped the question in their flat on 29th August, 2019. “We’d discussed wedding dates before and thought 29th August, 2020 sounded perfect,” shares the bride. “I was surprised as I knew we were heading towards an engagement but was oblivious that it would happen that day! He even went through the trouble of asking my dad the night before and creating a custom-made engagement ring. I ruined his plans a bit as I decided to work from home that day, but had a hair appointment in the afternoon, so he re-arranged the flat and laid out candles and pictures of us in the 30 minutes I was gone.”
