Q – How do I choose the right foundation to suit my skin type?
"The best place to try foundation is on the inside of your wrist, where the skin is the thinnest. If it matches, then the foundation should disappear into the skin, and if you can’t really see it colour wise, then it’s a good match.
"The texture is something else. If it feels light, smooth and creamy, then you know it won’t show on your face, giving you a lovely look that hides any blemishes. If however you need or want a heavier texture, then you need a slightly thicker foundation. Older ladies benefit from one of the many lifting foundations on the market. The best idea is to leave it to your professional artist, who will go through this with you at the trial stage."
