Katie and Frank felt an instant connection and a few years later tied the knot at Great Fosters
Katie and Frank first laid eyes on each other in September 2015. “Frank had just moved to London from the USA,” says Katie. “We had our first date at The Edinboro Castle in Camden. We got on so well that we decided to have our second date the very next day! Although we grew up on different continents, we shared the same interests, values and experiences.”
Frank popped the question in September 2018 on Mackinac Island in Michigan, USA. “Frank would often visit the island with his family, so it meant a lot to him,” shares the bride. “I travelled there several years before while on a foreign exchange, so it has special meaning to both of us. During the time we were on holiday visiting Frank’s family, so they got to celebrate the proposal with us.”
