After tying the knot in New York, Chantrelle and Tara had an Art Deco-themed blessing

Chantrelle and Tara met at work. “It was definitely him who pursued me,” laughs Chantrelle. “As my desk was close to the printer, he would casually swing by quite regularly for a chat. However, I was the one who made the first move on a night out, and the rest is history.”

Tara proposed in New York in December, 2016. “We had booked an amazing Mexican restaurant in Times Square for dinner, but on route, he suggested we go past the Rockefeller’s 75ft Christmas tree,” shares the bride. “He kept pushing me towards the tree, and I kept going the other way towards the ice rink, but he persisted and seemed a little irritable because I wasn’t doing what he was suggesting. Bless him, he was so nervous, and I didn’t have a clue! It all made sense when we went to the front of the tree, and standing under 50,000 sparkling fairylights, he started to tell me how he loved me. I was so shocked I didn’t even say yes and just asked ‘really?’ multiple times! It was a dream come true.”
