What to expect from your hair trial

Bride

We asked hair stylist, Kim Carey what to expect from your hair trial.

"Your hair trial is your opportunity to try a few different styles that you have in mind. It’s best to wait until near the wedding, and you have your dress before booking. The trial can take place anywhere between five months and five days before your special day.

"I always recommend having a picture of your dress handy, so the stylist can see the neckline. Also, bring along any accessories that you’re planning on wearing, like a veil, tiara or headband. Generally, a trial will be done on clean, dry hair and several styles will be tried. It’s also a good time to discuss the final details of the day, confirming timings and payments.

"Bring someone from the bride squad that you trust for an option or even to have their trial done, as this will create a great atmosphere and tick another job off the list."
