Joining Jo Malone London's Cologne Intense collection of rich scents crafted from rare and precious ingredients from around the world, Amber Labdanum transports the wearer to the wild cistus fields surrounding the ancient city of Granada in southern Spain. In the warmth of the summer sun, the plants release the fragrant scent of labdanum into the air. The scented sap has been harvested from their leaves for centuries and was a revered incense ingredient in the ancient world. Developed by Jo Malone London's Global Head Of Fragrance Céline Roux and perfumer Yann Vasnier, the new Cologne Intense heroes this faceted ingredient at its heart, accompanied by bitter orange on a base of warming amber.
