We know that weddings can become expensive very quickly so our aim is to help make your wedding a memorable and joyous occasion,with all the added little touches that help to create a lavish effect without making any sacrifices.

Our tailored civil ceremony allows you to experience the personal touch when it comes to saying ‘I Do’ without compromising on finding that special location or being confined to a generic Registrars Office.

Each one of our three locations is different in style and size, and provides you with a variety of options for your ceremony. Whether you are wanting a small, intimate service for up to 40 guests or a larger location to accommodate up to 350 friends and family on your wedding day, we are able to help.

For those who are moving to another location after the ceremony, we allow you up to 60 minutes following the service to take photos in our magnificent grounds, giving you time to take in the occasion before moving on to enjoy the rest of your day.

Our Three Beautiful Locations

South African Cloister

Surrounded by beautiful lawns, seasonal flower displays and a rose garden, South African Cloister really provides that idyllic setting for a once in a lifetime ceremony.

Inside you will find beautiful carved columns and archways while stone benches run down the length of the main walkway providing neatly positioned areas to add those decorative touches while natural light pours through from the traditional Victorian gothic windows.

Outside each entrance there are garden areas providing extra space for capturing those precious photographic moments with loved ones and friends.

Charterhouse Hall

This wood-paneled room, hung with oil portraits beneath a vaulted ceiling, creates a warm and traditional feel in our largest wedding venue. On the south side the tall period windows allow in the warm sunshine to add to the ambience of this unique location.

The stage area at the top of Charterhouse Hall provides the ideal elevated platform for the happy couple to welcome friends and family or simply to take in their special day. You are welcome to use our grand piano which is housed on the stage if you wish to have a pianist* play before or after.
*Wedding party are responsible for booking pianist

The Saunders Room

If you are looking to host a more intimate ceremony, the Saunders Room airs an elegance of a stately home drawing room.

Decorated with beautiful golden chandeliers, high beamed ceiling and wooden paneled walls this all helps to make your guests feel relaxed while they await for the ceremony to begin. The small library of beautiful books stored at the top of the room adds to its character.
