Pennyhill Park's new afternoon tea collaboration, with fellow British brand Molton Brown, gives guests a very special sensory experience. Taking inspiration from a range of Molton Brown's signature scents, there are five different seasonal menus across the year to experience – this season brings you Molton Brown's delicious Rhubarb and Rose. Firstly, guests will enjoy the subtle flourish of their napkin gently imbued with the season's eau de parfum and will receive a welcome tea on a 'smoking' box of dry ice, which is an iced tea blend.
There is a vast range of delicious teas to explore, including its Signature Savoury Blend, created exclusively by the Tea Masters at Camellia's Tea House. It is the perfect brew to accompany The Savoury Platter before moving on to the Parfait and Grand Tea Stand with its warm home-baked scones and ravishing seasonal collection of pastries.
The bright and bold bespoke crockery has been designed exclusively for Pennyhill Park's Afternoon Tea service by William Edwards. The design inspiration has been taken from the amber accent colour of Hillfield's interior, together with English country garden flowers and the honeybees of the Pennyhill Park estate. Head pastry chef, Sarah Frankland, is a master at whipping up the delicious treats, having been awarded 2019 Pastry Chef of the Year at the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards, and was a finalist on 2019 Bake Off: The Professionals.
This is more than simply an afternoon tea – you are served up three courses one by one (so no scones getting cold) and there are special treats and touches between each, like bespoke flavoured teas, dry ice and bespoke crockery designed specifically for Pennyhill Park.
