Georgie and Phill met in the gym in 2018 and after months of exchanging shy looks, Georgie's best friend (and who would later be her maid-of-honour) left a note on Phill's motorbike outside the gym. He texted Georgie that evening and their fi rst date was just three days later. The couple had an instant connection, sharing the same family values, interests and ambitions – the perfect recipe for a happy marriage. When you know you've found the one, you don't want to waste any time! The couple bought their fi rst home together six months after their fi rst date, and in 2022, welcomed their daughter, Ada.
Everything felt right and the couple had naturally fallen into a blissful way of living; to make things offi cial, Phill proposed to Georgie on Valentine's Day 2023. Georgie recalls, “I left for work that morning like it was a normal day and thought he did too. Little did I know he had taken the day off work to plan our proposal. I returned home that evening to rose petals, twinkling lights and a balloon easel with the words 'will you marry me?' and Phill down on one knee”.
Harley and Matt's love story starts during Covid, when Harley was working in the local hospital, and Matt had come to sell fruit and veg to the staff who couldn't make it to the shops. Matthew had asked his uncle to get Harley's number, under the promise that he knew someone who could fix her car. The chatting started and the rest is, as they say, history!
Harley and Matt like to leave it up to the fates when it comes to decisions (big or small). Harley adds, “One day we were out shopping and Matthew suggested fl ipping a coin to see if he should buy an engagement ring, it came up heads so we brought a ring there and then. I wasn't allowed it straight away because Matthew wanted to surprise me with a stay at the Crazy Bear Hotel! We got put into room 21 (lucky number!) and I then finally got the ring I was waiting months for!
