After a very busy year tying the knot to my wonderful partner, travelling to some beautiful places and celebrating several of our friends getting married, it’s finally time to close the door on 2022. It’s been quite a year, with a flurry of weddings from some beautiful couples across Surrey, lots of new companies opening their doors and some getting back to normal post-pandemic. Seeing things open up again has been wonderful and I can’t wait to see what 2023 brings!
If you’re a regular reader, then you’ll know that the December/January issue has always been my favourite, and I look forward to writing it every year. It’s packed full of inspiration, adorable products, seasonal weddings and the latest fashion trends. To celebrate the end of 2022, we’ve gone all out with wintry fashion pages, must-see venue styling and the latest flower trends. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot in a fairytale venue, then we’ve got you covered on page 27 or if you’re looking for something in Guildford or Woking, head over to page 19.

Hartsfield Manor
Situated within 16 acres of manicured grounds and rich countryside is the charming Hartsfield Manor. Boasting impressive views of the Surrey Hills, this luxury property has heaps of Victorian character and charm, including a historic arched door, a staircase, a feature fireplace and chandeliers.
Couples looking for an intimate setting to tie the knot will love The Brockham Suite, which has a fireplace, a private terrace and space for 40 friends and family.
Large celebrations take place in The Lounge. Boasting high ceilings, a piano, an abundance of natural daylight coming in through the grand bay windows and room for 90 guests, this area is transformed for the evening reception to create space for 180 loved ones. There’s also the option for a buffet to be served in the adjoining small lounge to give friends and family an area to chat away from the dancefloor.
