I’ve had the privilege of being editor of Your Surrey Wedding since June 2019 and have put together 22 issues in that time. Over the years, I’ve grown really attached to the region, it’s wonderful couples and lovely wedding suppliers, so it’s with a heavy heart that I say this is my last issue. I feel really lucky to have worked on the magazine and it’s been a pleasure getting to know so many of you. I’ll be taking the helm on Your East Anglian Wedding, so not too far away, and I’m really excited for a new challenge and to see what the area has to offer.
Our long term advertiers and readers will remember that Danielle Harvey was the editor of Your Surrey Wedding long before me and I’m really pleased to say that she’ll be taking over from next issue, which also happens to be our massive 100th issue! Danielle is an expert on all things wedding and adores the area, so I’m sure you’ll all love what she brings to the magazine. I best sign off before I start blubbering, but make sure you check out everything this wonderful issue has to offer, including a bridal boutiques feature, delicious cakes and luxurious wedding venues.

We live and breathe weddings at County Wedding Magazines and Events, so we can't wait for our Signature Wedding Show at Mercedes-Benz World, Surrey on Sunday 16th April 2023! It's one of our biggest wedding shows of the spring wedding show season. The event brings couples that are desperate for face-to-face wedding planning in touch with local professionals who are on hand to help plan the wedding day. The Bush Hotel
The Bush Hotel has been welcoming guests through its door since 1618. Situated in the heart of historic Farnham and surrounded by the beautiful Surrey Hills, the property has many original details, including paintings, fireplaces, historical panelling and timber beams, as well as modern and opulent design features, creating the perfect blend of old and new.
After guests arrive, they will walk through the tranquil garden and enjoy views of the ivy-clad hotel and the sun terrace. At the front of the venue, the hotel has a private cobbled courtyard which still has some of the original coaching inn features.
Situated in the heart of the hotel on the ground floor is the Oak Lounge. This historic panelled room dates back to the 15th century and can hold up to 50 guests for the ceremony and 30 for a seated meal. With original features, two log fires and doors leading out to the terrace and gardens, it’s the ideal location for a more intimate celebration and is perfect in any season.
Alternatively, The Redgrave Room is a bright, spacious, and flexible space that has views of the hotel’s garden and a large open log fire. Located on the ground floor with easy access to the gardens, reception and bar, it can accommodate up to 90 loved ones throughout the day.
The largest space, which can hold up to 120 people, is the Bramley Suite. This venue is separate but adjacent to the main hotel and is accessed via the garden. A refurbishment of this space is due to commence in early 2023.
