Local photographer, Andy Huntley, reveals his top tips for choosing a wedding photographer

We spoke to local photographer Andy Huntley and asked how you can find a trustworthy photographer online.

"It's important that you feel relaxed around your photographer as they'll be capturing memories from your special day. I always try to meet  couples before the wedding as I wouldn't want a complete stranger pointing a camera in my face straight away. Meet your possible photographer either in your own home or somewhere you feel comfortable so you can discuss your photo requirements and to see if you click with each other.

"If it's not possible to meet in person for one reason or another then a video call on WhatsApp or Facetime is another way to "meet" each other.

"I also tell couples that if they have any questions or special requests they can call or email to let me know and I'll endeavour to put their minds at ease."
