Q – We're having a pink-themed wedding and I'd love to incorporate the hue into my make-up and hair. Do you have any ideas?

"This is a really fun question! A pink theme, instantly makes me think of Julia Robert’s in Steel Magnolias. I quote “My colours are blush and bashful!
 
"There are so many unique ways of incorporating pink into your hair and makeup. Check out this Pinterest board I've put together for you -  “My Colours are Blush + Bashful”.

"First you need to identify your style and how bold you want to be with it! How glam, natural, trendy do you want to look? I would recommend planning this look with your stylist and your photographer. Do you have a colourist who can professionally colour your hair pink? (You can attempt DIY, but I would recommend a professional especially if it’s less than six months before the wedding) Coloured clip-in hair extensions can be added if you don’t want to colour your hair. (This is a service we offer at Butterfly)

"Do you know how bold you want the pink to be? How it photographs and looks on camera, is important for the impact it will have! In general, if you are going for a bolder effect, then I would recommend more pigment, both with your hair and/or your makeup. If you want it to be subtle, then more of a pastel tone with lesser pigment would be ideal.

"What tone of pink do you want to see? Pastel, Hot Pink, Dusty Pink? What is your style inspiration for this theme? Vintage, Punk, Boho, etc? What accessories have you chosen for your hair? i.e. Veil, Tiara, Headband? You could go with a chunky pink pearl headband or an embellished veil with pink crystals, pearls, or sequins. Supplying your team of vendors with this information can really help the overall effect of your style.
 
"If you want to go really big with your theme, you could also ask your photographer to shoot photos with a pink filter. Create a photo booth with pink accessories like pink wigs and glasses, or design a custom Snapchat filter for your guests on Snapchat."
