Q – We're having a summer-themed wedding and would like to surprise our guests with something special. Do you have any suggestions?

"We love a summer wedding, and there are so many unique and exciting ways to celebrate in the sunshine. However, with so much to think about ahead of your big day, it can be difficult to find the time and energy to really explore all your options. So why not take some of the stress off your shoulders, and ask your suppliers to get creative. Creativity and innovation is something our business is built on, and we are constantly looking for new ways to surprise and delight all our couples, and guests.

"Here are some of the key ingredients that go in to making our service as special as possible:

"Variety: It's the spice of life right!? So we've applied that to our menu and offer a delectable assortment of tasty treats to tickle even the most discerning of taste buds. We offer all couples the choice of 6-7 flavours of premium Devonshire ice cream and sorbet from our entire menu of over 30 flavours, which also include Vegan and Alcohol infused flavours. Many other suppliers ask you to choose a selection from stock, so do be sure to explore all your options, and make sure you get what YOU want.

"Innovation: Nobody wants their wedding to be boring, so looking for innovative and unique suppliers that offer something a little different is super important. We started creating our own 'POP-tails' for this very reason, so we can bring your favourite cocktails or mocktails to life in ice lolly form. It's a great way to offer your guests something fun, tasty and unique to you and your partner. We'll give any flavour a go, so just give us some inspiration and we'll get creative!

"Fun: We absolutely encourage you to have as much fun on your wedding day as possible, after all, it's your day, why not!? We always love it when our couples (and sometimes guests) make the most of having us there, and like to hop in the van and have pictures taken, and even serve an ice cream or two! Our vintage van 'Poppy' makes a fantastic photo opportunity. We're even happy for you to cut your cake in the van, and serve it for you free of charge - who doesn't love a bit of cake and ice cream!?

"Personal touch: A wedding is an extremely personal affair, whether you're getting married in a barn, a stately home or a cow-field, so it's important that your big day, feels personal to you. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to make sure you have the most personal service, you deserve. We're always happy to take requests and suggestions from our couples, for example; to theme our menu, add decoration to the van, source a specific product. If it matters to you, it matters to us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your ideas and requests.

"Friendly: We always make sure we serve with a smile, and you enjoy having us as part of your celebrations, as much as we enjoy being there. We're also friendly towards our environment too, and have made sure that our business is as environmentally responsible as possible. Our van can run off solar power, and all our tubs, spoons and napkins are fully recyclable and / or biodegradable. This is something unique to our business and something we're rather proud of, and hope you will be too."
