Want to say 'no' to being a maid-of-honour? Here’s how!
Being a maid-of-honour or even a bridesmaid can be hugely exciting and a big honour, however,...
Sweet Dreams Teepees provides children’s tipis for parties and nuptials. First launching in 2019 as a sleepover business, the company has since expanded and is now offering wedding services.
Chris Wilkie, the owner, tells us: “I wanted to turn an ordinary sleepover into something truly special. Receiving unconditional five-star ratings, with most children expressing that it was the best sleepover ever really makes it all worthwhile. With this in mind, I wanted to head the business in a different direction. Providing activities for children and creating a space they can use at a wedding venue. My A-Frame and Wigwam Teepees are available to hire and include a range of activities for children including colouring sheets, a personalised bag, teddies, water, sweets and much more.
“The current crisis has been a challenging time for all businesses, so to help I’ve used leftover material to sew masks for those in need. In return, I’ve asked that recipients donate a tin of food to the Walton Working Men’s Club, where the volunteers collect, bag and distribute to the vulnerable. The volunteers in my community have been working round the clock distributing to those in need and I feel privileged to be a part of that community spirit.”
