Slimming World has launched a new temporary virtual weight loss service

In response to the pandemic, Slimming World has launched a new temporary virtual weight loss service. We spoke to Maxine Coyne to find out more: “Our service enables Slimming World’s members to continue to enjoy – in a virtual environment – weight loss support, as well as the friendly, community spirit that they find in their local group each week, all at a discounted fee.

"The new package includes access to a weekly virtual group using Zoom. A consultant will host the group and invite members to join from home. The emphasis is on building and staying in control of a healthy lifestyle which is more difficult now than under normal circumstances. Slimming World’s formula is built on compassion, care and understanding, bringing a welcome bit of light in hard times which is more important now than ever before. None of us knows just what we’re facing in the next few months, so we feel sure that anything that can bring practical support, as well as friendship, relief and reassurance, is needed right now.
