Built in 1912, Gorse Hill is an Edwardian mansion nestled deep in the Surrey countryside. The property was once home to colourful characters, many of whom made their fortunes in transport, but despite its busy past, this hidden gem is now a relaxed and intimate haven. This elegant venue has manicured gardens, a courtyard and feature water fountain as well as grand fireplaces and soft neutral colours throughout. There are 67 on-site bedrooms available, each with luxurious linen, comfortable beds and air-conditioning.

The Garden Suite, located in the grounds, was designed to be in keeping with the Edwardian house. It has an extensive bar and lounge area and can accommodate 150 guests throughout the day.

The Lounge, seating up to 90 friends and family, can also be used. This central room has bay windows and two pillars creating a natural aisle.

Alternatively, the Boardroom (30) or spacious Restaurant (90) can be used for the service and reception.

We love the honeymoon suite and that couples will receive a complimentary menu tasting and use of two additional bedrooms.
