Luxury wedding planner Constance Taylor creates Sweet 15 initiative

Luxury wedding planner Constance Taylor creates Sweet 15 initiative for couples in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire

Luxury wedding planner Constance Taylor has devised a Sweet 15 initiative that will allow Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire couples to get married with 15 guests present, for £15,000.

With thousands of couples across the counties having to postpone, cancel or rearrange their ceremonies, Constance has grouped together a team of her best suppliers and venues across these three regions in order to allow couples to tie the knot in the next six months.

Working with her couples to rearrange their big day, Constance Taylor, owner of Mrs T Weddings, spotted an opportunity to help those desperate to get married in the months ahead. She tells us that, "lots of couples are fed up of waiting any longer and desperately want to get married in 2020 or early 2021. When I've been meeting and talking to them, they've told me about their frustrations, feeling their lives are on hold while they wait for restrictions to lift. I came up with Sweet 15 as a way for them to get married safely and affordably, and to help wedding businesses during this difficult time."

Under her new initiative, Mrs T Weddings will plan a complete wedding for 15 guests for a total cost of £15,000. It keeps the costs to a set figure, with a range of high-quality suppliers on board to complete a dream wedding at a fraction of many couples' planned budgets.

Constance tells us, "I have a team of local suppliers and venues that provide a service for high-end weddings ready and waiting to help couples get married. We want to be able to help them have the perfect day while adhering to social distancing measures."

Local suppliers and venues involved in Sweet 15 include Oxleaze, Philippa James Photography, MT Studio Photography, Nong Smitinand Flowers, Maudika Bridal, Ellie Sanderson, Cherry Tree Cakerie, Oxford Fine Dining, and The Brothers Supper catering company as well as many others.

Experts Warn Against Using AI for Wedding Vows

Experts Warn Against Using AI for Wedding Vows

With peak wedding season approaching, experts are warning couples not to rely on AI to write one of the most personal parts of their big day – their vows. A survey by jewellers Queensmith has revealed that more than half (55%) of UK brides and grooms are now using AI tools to help write their wedding vows and speeches, raising questions about authenticity, originality and even potential legal grey areas. The findings come amid a growing debate around AI-written vows after a registrar in the eastern Netherlands saw a marriage called into question when AI was used to help write the ceremony script. In the case, the District Court of Overijssel ruled that "no marriage has been established" after it emerged the registrar had relied on ChatGPT to draft parts of the ceremony. The case has sparked wider concerns that AI-generated wording could unintentionally mirror existing vows or scripts found online, raising questions about originality and authenticity.
